Anna Lopfer-Lindinger-Lisinger

The destiny of the this wonderful resort in the Kötschach Valley always was impressed of strong personalities. Anna Hopfer-Lindinger-Lisinger, the founder of the Resort was a woman full of energy and endurance. In 1913 she acquired ownership of the Valley together with her husband, Erwin Lisinger. The original hunt-housing was developed in the years of the 30's into a restaurant. The current resort had his origin in the years of the 50's. The Resort becomes a first-class address and an enrichment of the health-resort Bad Gastein. Holyday-makers and notabilities feel charmed of the gastronomy and scenery. The Blumschein Family Hannes Blumschein (middle of photo) came to the Kötschach Valley in 1970 as an experienced hotelier. He married monica (pictured second from left), the daughter of Erwin Lisinger. These two enthusiastic gastronomes have run the hotel together since then, further enhancing its reputation and winning many awards. In 1990 the farm next to the Resort was acquired, along with its adjacent inn, catering for those paying a short visit to the wonderful Kötschach Valley.
