Day
1 - The Arrival
Collection
from Airport and on arrival at hotel welcome and check in. Karin,
your personal wedding co-ordinator, will also welcome you and make
appointment for the following day. Enjoy dinner and relaxation around
the pool.
Day
2 - Finishing Touches
After
an extensive breakfast - meeting with Karin - your wedding
coordinator in Kaprun to go through details for your wedding day and
check final arrangements. The rest of the day is yours to explore,
relax or to do some last minute shopping in Kaprun.
Day
3 - Your Wedding Day

Bride
Hair and Make-up in the hotel - in the Beauty Room - you will be
invited to have a glass of sparkling wine while having your hair
prepared. This will take approximately 1.5 hours - depending on the
style of your hair and the size of your party.
Depending
on your agreed wedding time the schedule would run similarly to the following:
12:30pm
Guests
gather in the Lobby prepare to leave.
12:45pm
Guests
leave for the wedding venue. This could be the Castle or the Kaprun
City Hall.
12.50pm
Karin
takes the bride and up to 2 persons together to the venue. In Summer
with a very special convertible white Buick. During winter months
this owuld be in the hotel car.
1.00pm
The
Photographer meets you at the wedding location and starts to take
the first pictures.
The
ceremony will start shortly after. The photographer will continue to
take photographs during the ceremony.
You
are welcome to bring music on CD. A popular option is to have a
harpist playing during the ceremony.
1:30pm
(approx)
Following
Congratulations there is an opportunity for Family Pictures.
In
winter an optional sleigh ride for the whole wedding party can be
arranged - for approx. 45 minutes - there is a supplement for this
which is determined by the party size. Your photographer would go
with you for special pictures during the sleigh ride.
There
are also some beautiful locations at the hotel for pictures, e.g.
the open roaring fireplace in winter, the beautiful rooftop terrace
in summer. There are others which you may choose when you are in Austria.
2:45pm
Back
to the hotel.
Welcome
at the hotel with sparkling wine with vienna walz music and cutting
heart ceremony -
Reception
on Roof Top Terrace during the Summer months (weather permitting),
or Indoors in the conservatory next to the cosy hotel bar with open
fireplace during the Winter months.
There
are also some beautiful locations at the hotel for pictures, e.g.
the open roaring fireplace in winter, the beautiful rooftop terrace
in summer. There are others which you may choose when you are in Austria.
Should
you wish to have the ceremony or celebration on the Lake the times
above will be slightly different.
Time
to relax and gather with your guests.
6:00pm.........
The
evening Celebrations begin. For larger parties you may choose a
private room for your wedding meal.
Evening
entertainment may include an band can be arranged as well as DJ for
larger parties in extra room. We work closely with a fantastic soul
singer who has previously entertained our wedding parties at the hotel.
Day
4 onwards
The
rest of your stay is yours to ski, relax. Please check the links on
our Kaprun page to fing out what there is to do in Kaprun. If you
have any special requests, please simply let us know. |
