special helmet to provide air, you can discover the local marine

variety of jewellers and craft shops with the Sunset Boullevarde in
Grand Bay providing a rich choice of clothing shops offering very

is an adundance of land and water sports available - these include 3
tennis courts )of which 2 are floodlit), table tennis, a variety of
ball games, yoga, archery and American pool. Watersports include
waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling and a glass bottomed
boat to view the coral and marine life. At an additional cost you can
also enjoy scuba diving or deep sea fishing or a catamaran cruise.
There is no gymnasium at Le Canonnier.
There
are daily activities for the children arranged by the Bob marlin
miniclub to keep the young ones amused and interested all day. The
Bob Marlin miniclub is situated in a very historic amoury which
housed the gun powder for the canons which gave the peninsula its
name "La Pointe aux Canonniers". In earlier centuries these
canons guarded the approach to Grand bay and served as protection for
the north of the island. |
