ANNUAL RAIL SAFARIS
Cape Town to Dar Es Salaam
(13 days) Dar Es Salaam and Cape Town. What
romantic names to conjure with! These two radically different African
cities are joined together by Rovos Rail's annual trans-African
safari. Travelling a distance of 6100 kilometres (3800 miles). The
Pride of Africa carries its exclusive band of intrepid travellers
through the heartlands of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania.

Pretoria to Swakopmund
(7 days) From its new home at Capital Park,
Pretoria, Rovos Rail invites you on a journey of discovery through
some of the most historic and scenic areas of southern Africa. For
seven days and six nights the train will carry you in world-class
style and comfort from the savannahs of the highveld to the Atlantic
ocean, reuniting by rail the republics of South Africa and Namibia,
formerly South West Africa.
REGULAR RAIL SAFARIS
Pretoria to Victoria Falls
(2 days) This exciting 1600km journey takes
you through the Zimbabwe border to Bulawayo, for an outing. Then
through Hwange, and onto Victoria Falls, one of the 7 wonders of the
world. Here one might enjoy the sightseeing, the walks, the nature or
indulge in more daring pursuits such as whitewater rafting, bungi
jumping, helicopter flights and elephant safaris.

Cape Town to Pretoria
(2 days) The Pride of Africa travels the
intriguing and varied 1600 kilometres through the heart of South
Africa to Cape Town and it's landmark Table Mountain.

Pretoria to Komatipoort
(1 day) A highlight of the tour is a visit
to a world-famous private Game Reserve, where guests are taken on
exciting game drives by expert rangers. Elephant, rhino, giraffe and
lion are among the animals which can be seen in their natural environment.

Cape Town to George
(1 day) This railway route must surely rank
as the most beautiful in the world...
