"Seychelles
- A Haven of Natural Beauty and Tranquility"
|
A
thousand miles from the nearest land, the Seychelles have a
mysterious habit of convincing you that they lie further away still.
The
sublime Indian Ocean archipelago is living proof tha the perfect
island paradise does exist, just the way the storybooks always said
it did. Here, the myth was made glorious reality some 600 million
years ago by a happy geological accident not once, but 115 times.
|
One
of the greatest beauties of the Seychelles is that you can travel
between islands so easily, either by boat, light aircraft or by
helicopter over unimaginable expanses of pure blue. You can divide
your honeymoon between two or more islands, staying on each and
discovering their contrasting atmospheres for yourselves. |

North
Island
North
Island was created in recognition of its potential as a Noahs
Ark; a sanctuary where natural habitats could be rehabilitated and
where critically endangered Seychelles fauna and flora could be
re-introduced and given a place to regenerate.
On
this beautiful island is built an exclusive luxury lodge and where
possible, materials reaped from the rehabilitation process have been
utilised. In doing so they have paid particular attention to
capturing the essence of barefoot luxury. The Island has
only have 11 guest villas.

What
could inspire romance more than the Seychelles' unparalelled natural
beauty? The perfect destination for a wedding; its secluded beaches,
exclusive private islands and quaint beach-side villas almost seem to
have been exclusively created for couples in love.
We
can arrange weddings on beaches, in tropical gardens and also aboard
a luxury private yacht which can be chartered for three days.
Your
wedding will be confirmed once we have made your hotel reservation.
You can get married on any day of the week, excluding public
holidays. It is unusual for hotels to host more than one wedding per day.
Late
afternoon is the best time to get married; temperatures are cooler
and the light is better for photography. Consider the island's
tropical climate when choosing your wedding outfits. Tight fitting
dresses or suits and mam-made fibres will be especially uncomfortable.
You
should plan to arrive in the Seychelles at least three days prior to
your wedding. The arrangements will be finalised at your hotel; your
personal wedding co-ordinator will help you choose a suitable
location and organise any extra services you need: including make-up,
hairdressing, flowers, catering and photographers. many of these
services can be pre paid before you leave the UK, but some must be
paid for locally.
|
Your
wedding co-ordinator will also be there on the day to ensure that
everything goes to plan. They'll see that your flowers are delivered
on time, and will also act as a witness at the ceremony if required. |

Africa, Botswana, Victoria Falls and Namibia. |
