La Caravelle to L'Espadon via L'Oasis, Trou aux Biches offers a
delicious journey through the Mauritian cuisine. Set on the beach,
concealed by swaying coconut trees, L'Espadon proposes a light and
simple cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. Coiled in a heart of
verdure, laid out on elegant wooden decks, L'Oasis welcomes you all
day long to sample a freshly made-up cuisine. La Caravelle, an
authentic colonial house, invites its guests to discover a panoply of
meals from all the parts of the world, prepared before their eyes for
enhanced pleasure.

On
the edge of the beach, La Caravelle, the hotel's main restaurant
seats 220 and features a 60-seat restaurant reserved to children, the
Bob Marlin Miniclub’s restaurant.
Open
for all breakfasts and dinners, La Caravelle offers a cuisine that
is both diverse and tasty. You are therefore free to try out the
braised carrots Chinese style, the banana salad with saffron or the
mouth-watering risotto with octopus. This restaurant goes one step
further and transforms your culinary experience into a “live
cooking show” which you can look at from the different
"cooking stations": Italian, Creole, Asian.

gourmet escape in the heart of a tropical oasis, spread out on
wooden decks, in open air. Open for all the meals, this restaurants,
that seats 120 is the perfect option if wish to soak in the
unpretentious character of the most protected coast of the island. At
lunch, light meals are offered, made of salads, fish and fresh
vegetables: asparagus mousse with shrimps, “brioches”
stuffed with seafood, fish escalope laced with honey and saffron. For
dinners, L'Oasis arrays itself in its most elegant accessories to
give you the choice of a "Table d'hôte" or the
surprise of a menu "A la Carte"

L'Espadon
is the beach restaurant of Trou aux Biches and opens for lunch and
dinner. As its name indicates, the speciality of this restaurant
resides in the preparation of the fresh products of the sea. This
cosy venue – it has only 32 seats – diffuses an enchanting
atmosphere: feel the caress of the sand under your feet, the face
turned towards the sea. You will be lured by the bouquet of grilled
saveurs: a lobster salad with Chardonnay dressing, or a promising
marine casserole. |
